Registrar/Scheduler - Central Imaging

Central Imaging is located in the West Norman Professional Building in Norman, OK. • Greets all patients and guests in a courteous manner while initiating the scheduling process.
• Obtains and verifies accurate patient identification and demographical data to confirm or update patient's permanent medical record, while recognizing and maintaining the confidentiality of all patient information.
• Responsible for completing the patient registration and admission process, upfront or point of service collections, and providing professional customer service during telephone interactions with patients and guests, doctors, nurses, and other hospital personnel.
• Screens and schedules patients accordingly for diagnostic imaging exams.

Education

• High School Education or equivalent.
• College degree preferred
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required.

Experience

• One to two years in a medical office or business office.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology required.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Diagnostic imaging authorization and scheduling experience preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

Compensation/Benefits

• $14.86-$24.27/hr depending on previous work experience.
