SUMMARY: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for shipping and receiving inventory for the organization and maintaining records related. This position works with general guidance in a team environment and requires dexterity and high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Ship outgoing materials from organization, receive incoming goods to organization and route to appropriate departments.
  • Prepare and maintain records of goods shipped and received and prepare bills of lading, reporting any damaged goods or shortages.
  • Post weight and shipping charge and keep accurate data of outgoing goods.
  • Kit items for assembly department.
  • Loads and/or unloads the vehicle as needed or required.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts.
  • Maintain, implement, and improve 5-S Principles.
  • Sustain production standards and quality.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Performing other tasks in the facility, as needed.


  • Adhere to company policies and procedures described in Employment Handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Forklift certification preferred. Must be able to obtain upon hire.
  • Team-player who can handle working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Quality oriented with a hands-on, "do it right the first" time personality
  • Self-motivated individual that needs minimal supervision to be successful.
  • Must be able to check parts for conformance to specifications.
  • Be a team player who can perform in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency.


  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
