MaineHealth Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders (GLCOE) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to support children with autism and developmental disorders full or part time in year-round early intervention, preschool and K-12 programs. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Special Education Teacher, the Behavior Tech/Ed Tech will be responsible for teaching children using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within a multi-disciplinary team. This role is crucial in helping children achieve the goals outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), and Positive Behavior Support Plans. GLCOE is dedicated to training the next generation of professionals. We provide tuition reimbursement, BCBA clinical supervision, student teaching/mentorship, internships, career advancement opportunities and ongoing training. Summary: The Behavioral Technician role is responsible for providing care and emotional support to patients, implementing individualized treatment plans with treatment team members and may also assist with the collection and documentation of data. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred. 2. License/Certifications: N/A 3.
