If you're eager to join Alice Hyde Medical Center, apply today! JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary function is daily oversight of the radiology and cardiopulmonary departments at Alice Hyde Medical Center. Under the supervision of the AVP of Support and Professional Services and the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director of Radiology and Cardiopulmonary Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of staff including, building schedules, compiling quality reports, completing payroll, holding staff meetings, and maintaining compliance with The Joint Commission, New York State and all other regulatory agencies as applicable. The Director acts as a liaison between providers and staff and is responsible for directing all operations and administrative functions in both departments. The Director is authorized to make independent judgements on all operational issues that affect daily work. The Director demonstrates excellence in problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility, and teamwork. The Director provides leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment. The Director collaborates with administrators and other members of the health care team to design, evaluate, and improve patient care systems and processes. The Director works closely with network partners and the Network Vice President of Radiology for strategic plans and equipment needs.
