The Department of Learning Sciences at Georgia State is an interdisciplinary unit dedicated to improving the human condition through data-driven investigation of the learning process, through the effective design of innovative learning environments and through the development of learning science professionals in five distinct areas of specialization.

The Department of Learning Sciences is seeking a part-time SFP - Project Coordinator.

Project BEES (Behavioral Early Education Scholars) is a 325k leadership grant funded through OSEP (Office of Special Education) US Department of Education aimed at preparing practitioners in applied behavior analysis and special education to be highly prepared to meet the needs of students with significant support needs. This is a grant funded position.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This position will support the PI and Co-PI to meet the aims of Project BEES (Behavioral Early Education Scholars).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The SFP - Project Coordinator will help on-board students, manage reporting requirements, communicate with the grant support team on grant administration tasks, manage research requirements including IRB applications and consent forms, support conference presentation submissions, manage student communication, and manage annual reporting.

***This is a regular, full-time position which involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a High School diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience in applied behavior analysis, special education, and/or related fields.
