OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Assist in planning and executing effective sales strategies to recruit, retain and manage sponsor partnerships to achieve established collection goals. Assist in vetting potential sponsor leads and educating sponsors in organizational requirements. Provide coverage and support for sales team as needed. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD: Key Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, strategic planning, and the ability to support implementation of programs is preferred. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are required. Responsible for providing own transportation for business purposes. Ability to work on a team. Travel: May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization. *Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
