Virtualization Engineer and Architect

The Opportunity:

We're looking for someone with deep skills and experience in virtualization and storage technology to help us design and deliver solutions that help our clients meet their mission by supporting critical Defense development and test programs to bring new capabilities to the warfighter. As a leader on our team, you'll play a leading role in delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. You'll partner with clients to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions.

You Have:

  • 14+ years of experience in the design and delivery of IT infrastructure solutions integrating server technology, storage technologies, and management solutions

  • Knowledge of storage networking solutions

  • Knowledge of designing and implementing VMware solutions

  • Knowledge of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting VMware virtualization products

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems Technology, EE, Electronics Engineering, ME, Information Systems, or Engineering Technology

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD network and storage encryption technologies

  • Top Secret clearance

  • VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
