Description
The Salvation Army Mission Statement: PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to ensure delivery of services and answer inquiries to the social service clients and community within the geographic boundaries of Solano County, and to help execute seasonal programs, such as holiday and back-to-school shopping of The Salvation Army as directed by the supervisor. The Social Services Ministry Worker will determine client needs, provide quality service, and treat all clients with respect. The execution of service delivery shall be in a manner consistent with the traditional ethics, methods, and purpose of The Salvation Army. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
2 years: Social Services Experience (preferred)
2 years: Working with the public (required) Licenses & Certifications
