Salary range:
The salary range for this position is $310,000 - $360,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See the Professorial Series (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan salary scale. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: December 2, 2024 Most recent review date: Thursday, Jan 2, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Dec 1, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Vice Chair of Ambulatory Services Faculty position will oversee ambulatory operations and educational activities in our busy teaching clinics located in Orange and Newport Beach. This position will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series, either Full or Associate rank, and will also provide general oversight of physicians (attendings, residents & fellows) and Allied Healthcare Providers (Social work, psychology and neuropsychology). Additional duties include collaborating with the department Clinic Manager and central hospital ambulatory services to ensure high quality care for patients and families and strong educational experiences for trainees. Collaboration with researchers to support clinical research in the Department. Coordinating with Vice Chair for Inpatient Services, the Adult and Child and Adolescent Training Program directors, and report to the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry. Lastly, contributing to planning and the development of innovative programs and expansion of ambulatory services provided by the department.
