Job Summary Sun Country is hiring Seasonal A&P Mechanics! Our Seasonal employees will be in active status and work variable hours during Sun Country peak business seasons. Candidates must have availability to work variable hours. Sun Country will provide advance notice when seasonal needs change and seasonal needs will be ending. The primary responsibility of the Seasonal A&P Aircraft Mechanic is to ensure the ongoing airworthiness of the Sun Country Airlines' fleet of aircraft. Work Environment This job operates in the ramp areas. This role is routinely exposed to all weather elements. Physical Demands Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking. Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases. Additional Notes Must have valid driver's license Must be able to obtain a DFW SIDA badge and Customs Seal.
