In this role, you will:

Responsible for leading and directing projects that are very cross-functional and highly complex using different development methods which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The Sr. Program Manager provides direction and leadership to the team ensuring successful delivery for the scope of work outlined within the project overview and inclusive of




  • Manage project plans, roadmaps, and execution to achieve the project goal using various development methods (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)



  • Leverage policies, standards and procedures that can be consistently applied and leveraged across the business in support of delivering for our internal clients.



  • Manage project changes using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project on track.



  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.



  • Align stakeholders and team members by ensuring a common understanding of expectations for the project.



  • Solve difficult problems impacting a team or project; identify ways to improve current customer needs.





Who You Are:



  • MUST BE LOCAL TO CHICAGO- This role requires ONSITE 3 days/week. West Loop, DT Chicago.

  • 6+ years' experience required: Prior corporate and global program management experience required with 6+ years managing projects.



  • Experience managing large ITSM transformational programs for global companies



  • Demonstrates as a deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management processes and tools.



  • Experience communicating effectively with high levels of management and direct client contact.



  • Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership.



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.




Nice to have:




  • Experience in building and developing a CMDB in a global technology company



  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or Similar platforms

  • Initial dependencies, risks, and issues



  • Requirements and Assumptions documents



  • Resource plan



  • Program RACI/Accountability Matrix
