Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL (Hybrid)

JOB STATUS: Full-Time

TRAVEL: Less than 10%

JOB SUMMARY

Astrion is searching for a motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our team to analyze, implement and support business systems and strategies that have a direct impact on process efficiency, NIST/CMMC compliance, and competitive capabilities for the company.This role requires a proactive mindset in identifying system improvements, with a focus on staying updated on the latest advancements in cloud solutions. Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Management of Information Systems, Business Administration, or related Information Technology degree, or a related field.
    • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, provided the candidate demonstrates the necessary skills, expertise, and knowledge required for the role.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience working with Business Information Systems.
    • Hands-on experience with current ERP systems is preferred, to include Deltek Costpoint and UKG Pro.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, or other comparable ERP systems.
    • Strong data management and reporting skills, with experience using SQL, Excel, or similar tools. Database administration experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
    • Understanding of ERP systems and how other business functions (HR, payroll, finance, etc.) use those systems.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ERP Administration:
    • Maintain and manage Deltek Costpoint and integrations with our UKG HRIS system and other corporate systems.
    • Maintain overall health of business applications, as well as continuing to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • User Support:
    • Manage help desk support for business systems and provide users with support for submitted issues or access needs.
    • Self-motivated and able to build relationships with Astrion employees from all departments and contracts to provide support.
  • Technical:
    • Experience with relational databases, SQL, stored procedures and API development needed.
    • Must help manage ERP system integrations for corporate and contract systems.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Generate and analyze contract and corporate reports using IBM Cognos BI.
    • Dashboard and visualizations experience would be a plus.
  • Data Integrity:
    • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security across all busines systems.
    • Conduct regular audits and implement necessary corrections.
