Description

SUMMARY:The Manager of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders (NEPC) is responsible for the strategic development and operational oversight of the cheer department, ensuring alignment with the organization's brand, business goals, and fan engagement strategies. This position includes high-level planning and decision making in areas such as personnel management, budget management, game planning and execution, recruitment and retention.The Manager also plays a key role in driving sponsorship opportunities and fostering the development of new programs within the department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Serve as the lead strategist for the NEPC department, driving initiatives that enhance brand visibility, fan engagement, and revenue growth.
  2. Evaluate and improve existing programs while fostering the development of new initiatives to align with broader organizational goals.
  3. Develop and manage the annual departmental budget, payroll, and financial planning processes.
  4. Analyze budgetary data and make recommendations to optimize resources and program efficiency.
  5. Oversee recruitment, selection and retention of cheerleaders, including managing the annual audition process and related events.
  6. Assign work, manage scheduling, and conduct annual reviews for cheerleaders.
  7. Address personnel issues, including disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in consultation with direct supervisor and HR as necessary,
  8. Maintain and enforce brand guidelines of the New England Patriots Cheerleaders, ensuring consistency in image, presentation, and professional standards.
  9. Oversee the development of choreography, game-day entertainment, and related presentation elements including music selection, dance formations, uniforms and props.
  10. Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to identify sponsorship opportunities, negotiate agreements, and maintain sponsor relationships.
  11. Direct the creation and distribution of marketing materials including print, web and social media assets, to promote the cheerleading program.
  12. Plan and execute youth cheerleading clinics and other community outreach programs to engage fans and promote the NEPC brand.
  13. Ensures all aspects of the NEPC program is conducted in accordance with all NFL rules, regulations and policies.
  14. Act as primary liaison between the NEPC department and other departments such as Marketing, Community Relations, and Game Operations, to support grassroots marketing and fan engagement initiates.
  15. Manages music inventory throughout the season, including maintaining routine lists, and ensuring music rights clearances are obtained prior to use.
  16. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
  17. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  18. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cheerleading program management, event planning or related leadership role
  • Former professional cheerleading experience a plus
  • Dance choreography experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, develop strategic plans, and ability to motivate, lead and give constructive feedback to individuals
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and effectively manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel, work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
