The Director, Information Technology, participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Make final decisions on implementation and ensure operational effectiveness. Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies. Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Effectively plan, organize, and implement tasks or projects to achieve established goals and objectives. Handles capacity planning to ensure all projects are staffed appropriately and KPIs are met.
  • Oversees enterprise-wide deployment and upgrades of IT hardware and software. Create, implement, evaluate, and enhance internal control processes.
  • Serve as a relationship owner identifying cross-organization improvements. Act as a point of contact for communication between Corp IT and peer WellSky organizations and collaborate with other leaders to identify and improve end-to-end IT processes and create business value.
  • Implement process improvement methodologies, support their adoption, and establish compliance and reporting frameworks to improve quality.
  • Develop and execute strategies of compliance and reporting framework with other governing bodies at WellSky, managing the workforce planning framework to meet human capital needs.
  • Serve as primary stakeholder for all Software IT procurement inclusive of ongoing processes, alignment with key internal partners (Legal, Finance, Engineering, etc.).
  • Connect with external vendor/partners to ensure alignment, relationship management, and benefits are realized.
  • Responsible for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes by ensuring seamless integration of IT systems and infrastructure. Handle all software rationalization to ensure proper strategic direction and implementation is addressed.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Experience:

  • 8+ YOE in specific discipline, 4+ YOE managing people (see above on management scope)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or closely related field or a combination of equivalent Education and Experience.

  • Healthcare industry experience
