Salary range:
The salary for this position is $78,900. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Professorial Series: (Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, In Residence, Ladder Rank) and Professor of Teaching Series - Health Sciences Compensation Plan. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Review timeline:
12/18/2024 Application Window Open date: December 10, 2024 Next review date: Friday, Jan 10, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Jun 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the UC Irvine School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology is accepting Applicants must possess a medical degree from a U.S. or Canadian medical school approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), have completed a three-year Ophthalmology residency program prior to start of fellowship, and be eligible for licensure in the state of California. The incumbent will participate in patient care, teach clinical programs, and work on current research projects related to ophthalmology disease and/or advancements in ophthalmology technology.
