Drawing on a broad understanding of healthcare/pharmacy practices and policies and displaying a high degree of initiative and independent judgment, this position will collaborate closely with pharmacy and organizational leadership to continually assess and manage a wide range of issues including operational, personnel, budgetary, facilities and systems issues, programmatic development, long-range planning and project development. The individual will serve as the health system expert on the pharmacy finance and revenue cycle development program details, oversight, education, procedures, monitoring, reporting, and program enhancement / optimization. The Pharmacy Director-Pharmacy Business and Revenue Cycle will work with key stakeholders to optimize operational and cost efficiencies wherever possible. This individual possesses a thorough knowledge of the regulatory environment as it relates to health care reimbursement and compliance, charge master maintenance and billing, and contract management. The Pharmacy Director-Pharmacy Business and Revenue Cycle collaborates with revenue cycle management teams, finance teams/executives, and Pharmacy leadership to facilitate the reduction of pharmaceutical cost and maximize reimbursement/revenues while maintaining high levels of quality, service, and safety. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Required qualifications: 1. 5 years of experience with pharmacy revenue cycle and finance that may include revenue cycle management, GPO administration, health-system leadership with budget/cost-savings experience, retail/inpatient/outpatient pharmacy knowledge, or comparative consultative experience required.
