Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN is hiring a Principal Healthcare Analyst to support government programs in Quality/HEDIS/Stars initiatives in Eagan, MN. In this role, you will be supporting and guiding the strategic needs of the team through the application of advanced analytics to diverse business questions and initiatives. You will create reliable, accurate and timely data that can be used by the business to solve and drive business solutions by using a combination of traits and skills including industry knowledge, data and programming savvy, and math and statistical abilities. The position will lead efforts cross-functionally to clarify requirements, analyze complex data, and produce and present meaningful and defensible results, including the identification of success factors and barriers, improvement opportunities, proposing solutions, and informing strategic decisions. You will have at least 7 years of experience in analytics and be proficient in SAS, SQL, and other analytical tools for effective data extraction and interpretation. A background in healthcare and knowledge of healthcare quality analytics (HEDIS, NCQA, CMS, PQA, etc.) is strongly preferred. Experience with PowerBI and automation is also preferred. Compensation and Benefits: Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
