Quality Assurance Manager
Responsible
for the maintenance, development, and administration of all quality assurance
systems of the company. The position oversees all quality aspects of the
company, which are critical to the day-to-day functioning of the company.

Facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for
Aerospace and Defense.
Job Summary
- Manages the
quality assurance, quality control, quality improvement functions. - Responsible for
the development, maintenance, evaluation and sustainment ,of the quality
system including but not limited to the quality manual in accordance with
AS9100, NADCAP, customer audits, internal audits and other customer
quality documents. - Drives the
understanding and training for quality concepts and methods throughout the
company. - Supports the
values of the company. - Key member of
the management team. - Supports the Tulsa team and customers both internal and external through the
development of our QA system, team members and available resources. - Continuously
improve the quality position to contribute to the teamwork necessary to
continuously improve other processes. - Decision
authority for quality issues. - Coordinates
QMS Process Improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of aerospace
company specifications and practices - Computer
knowledge and skills, i.e. MS Word and Excel. - Ability to lead
a group of people in a constructive, productive and fair manner. - Ability to
manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required. - Strong
analytical and communication skills. - Ability to
drive relentless root cause analyses to ensure future success of the
Organization. - Pleasant
personality must interact with all levels of personnel, customers and
vendors. - Read and
understand internal procedures and policies. - Overtime and
weekend work as needed to support manufacturing. - Overnight
travel as needed to support customer and manufacturing. - Ability to keep
confidential information confidential. - Team oriented
with a continuous improvement outlook.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's
degree in business or technical field; up to 5 years related experience in
job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and
experience - Minimum 5 years
experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. - Minimum 5-7
years progressive experience in quality management with supervisory
experience, including military, where applicable, and commercial customers
Licenses, Certifications, etc.
- Black Belt certification (preferred)
- Auditing certification
