Your Role With Us:

As a Physical Therapist, you'll play a key role in patient care by using evidence-based treatments to help individuals with a variety of orthopedic conditions, in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting. You'll be part of a team that collaborates to create personalized therapy plans aimed at improving overall functional ability. Key responsibilities include managing caseloads, coordinating care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. We're looking for candidates with a valid Oregon license, strong communication skills, and a dedication to patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring progress towards functional goals with safe, effective strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and billing, reflecting patient progress and supporting charges.
  • Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maximize patient outcomes and involve families in care plans.
  • Caseload Management: Proactively manage caseloads to meet productivity targets and clinic demands, with flexibility required for department needs.
  • Post-Operative Care: Previous experience in post-operative care is preferred.
  • Communication and Compliance: Maintain effective communication and adhere to regulatory standards.

Your Background and Experience:

  • BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Oregon required.
  • Be a team player and have proven success applying team approach to obtain resolution to an issue.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills for working with the rehabilitation team and patients.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask while working in a high volume multidisciplinary setting.
  • Demonstrated competency by implementing age, culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate treatment plans and by appropriate documentation.
