Advanced Practice Clinician Fellow in Urgent Care

HealthPartners
United States, Minnesota, St. Louis Park
Dec 17, 2024

We are offering a 12 month post-graduate fellowship program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Urgent Care with a targeted start date of July 2024.

The HealthPartners Urgent Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship engages APC learners in extensive training within Urgent Care, as well as required rotations in specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing necessary treatments and procedures.

Through lectures, skills training, and simulation, didactic sessions compliment the diverse rotations and hands on experiences, offering APC Fellows the opportunity to develop clinical competence, critical thinking skills, and interprofessional collaboration. This allows APCs to successfully integrate into the specialty of Urgent Care at an accelerated rate compared with on-the-job training.

At HealthPartners, you will find a warm, diverse group of people who are committed to helping our patients - and each other. We foster an inclusive environment that encourages new ways of thinking, celebrates differences, and recognizes hard work. We're also committed to living our values. This means you can expect us to be your partner and treat you with dignity and respect. Join our team and make good happen!
