Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

  • This position is intended to prepare the CT Simulator Technologist for enrollment in Radiation Therapy School.
  • The selected individual will be required to apply to and attend an RTT program within two (2) years of their hire date.
  • The role involves performing prescribed Radiation Oncology and Radiologic imaging procedures under the direction of a licensed medical provider.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain patient safety.
  • This position may also include clerical duties such as filing, record maintenance, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program
  • Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of medical records documentation.
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting
