Position Type: Full-Time Class Category Faculty Job Open Date 12/09/2024 Job Close Date 01/08/2025 Open Until Filled No Initial Screen Date: 01/13/2025 Minimal Qualifications: Master's degree in Communication or Speech Communication; OR Master's degree in any field with at least 18 GCH in a combination of the qualifying fields. Qualifying fields: Communication (any) Speech Communication Studies Speech Communication Theatre Linguistics Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Two (2) years of teaching experience using interactive teaching techniques. Experience using assessment techniques to promote teaching and learning excellence. Demonstrated experience with current pedagogical and instructional methods. Demonstrated experience with utilizing a variety of classroom technologies, both inside and outside the classroom. Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all constituencies of a diverse community. Demonstrated interest in and passion for teaching community college students. Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to use information technology for professional productivity (such as Microsoft Office Suite). Work Hours Compensation Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
