WRITTEN CONTENT SUPPORT



  • Serve as an exemplary writer, researches, plans and produces clean, concise, well-polished copy to support marketing campaigns and strategies for electronic/digital or print communications designed to drive traffic, engagement, acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Ensures content adheres to brand standards, maintains a consistent voice, is keyword optimized and personalized to targeted audiences.
  • Serve as a copyeditor and lead of content creation among a team of content freelance writers to produce all forms of content across multiple platforms and formats that is delivered within specified deadlines.
  • Impeccable spelling, copywriting, grammar, sentence structure and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tracks and monitors the freelance contract budget, making sure resources are allocated appropriately and the budget remains parallel the projected allocated cost.
  • Monitor content measurement results and optimize for digital performance and conversion
  • Maintain detailed editorial and social content calendars, including content freelancer timelines and deadlines.
  • Work closely with the member-facing staff to drive theme and topic rationalization that will be used to develop product cycle journeys - content that aligns with the needs and pain points of our audience.
  • Partner with product and department leaders to produce effective content that meets the organizational objectives.
  • Manage content assets, including organization, tagging and managing usage rights



SOCIAL SUPPORT



  • Create paid and organic content (posts, videos, images) for all social media platforms to best engage target audiences, build awareness, convert and retain followers, based on company needs, current trends, consumer insights, and analytics.
  • Co-monitor the day-to-day marketing activities across multiple platforms.



DIGITAL SUPPORT



  • Monitor benchmarks for measuring impact and effectiveness of content, providing optimization recommendations to the Content Strategy Manager for review.
  • Test, measure and optimize digital content on an on-going basis with the goal of increased organic content traffic, keywords, backlinks and user conversion.
  • Website maintenance and projects as assigned.



MARKETING AND STRATEGY SUPPORT



  • Keep up on emerging trends and modify approach, as necessary, to remain competitive.
  • Works with design and marketing cloud automation team members to understand content needs for integrated marketing campaigns and automated journeys.
  • Participates in campaign kickoff brainstorm meetings bringing content ideas and suggestions
  • Assist in selecting a content management system; managing the platform implementation and maintenance.
  • Must be deadline driven and comfortable working on multiple sub-projects at once; sometimes under pressure.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects within challenging timeframes.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of search engines and ranking factors is a plus.
  • Savviness across a broad range of skill sets, including research, data analysis, online publishing, marketing automation, social media, and search engine optimization.
  • A thorough understanding of consumers' behaviors and what motivates them to convert.
  • Excellent research, organizational and learning skills.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with digital delivery channels and the application of best practices across different platforms.
  • High level of creativity to capture several different styles and tones.
  • Ability to identify and differentiate product value propositions to align with personas.


Qualifications
Experience
Must be fluent in all major business software applications, such as Microsoft Office, and have experience with Google Analytics (required)
Experience with WordPress and/or similar content management platforms is preferred. (required)
A track record of performance excellence meeting deadlines and objectives. (required)
4 years: At least four years related business experience (marketing, advertising, copywriting, business communications, public relations, journalism or related field). (required)
