Summary: The Maintenance Coordinator is the liaison between the maintenance personnel and vendors. This role ensures equipment, supplies, and resources, are acquired within the company guidelines in a timely manner to ensure maintenance work can be performed. This role is critical to maintain continued operations at the terminal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Submit PO requisitions. * Placing/Receiving orders * Liaison between maintenance personnel and vendors * Accepting deliveries and preparing items for shipment * Order all operations supplies * Help with vehicle tags/registration * Help with guard shack with miscellaneous needs/repairs * Maintenance management software data entry * Track outstanding invoices Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 0 - 2 years of experience * Must have valid driver's license * Must be able to obtain a TWIC card Preferred Qualifications: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong reading, writing and communication skills * Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and tool * Knowledge of petroleum products and industry terminology * Basic computer skills * Additional trades an asset
Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. * Usually, normal office working conditions. * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. * Occasional overnight travel may be required. * Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. |
