Position Summary: The Physician Assistant (PA) for Neuroscience/Neurosurgery works within the acute care hospital setting in collaboration with a vibrant team of neurosurgeons, residents, and PAs in a highly rewarding academic hospital setting. No nights, no call, and no OR requirement. Responsibilities include: inpatient care, patient education, collaboration with consulting specialists, maintaining communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary health care teams, and precepting PA students. Primarily care for adult patients with various neurosurgical conditions including spinal disease, tumors/cancer, hydrocephalus, cerebrovascular disease, neurotrauma, and stereotactic/functional neurosurgery. The PA is an integral part of the care team. This is a unique opportunity to join a top neurosurgical academic medical center team. Shifts: Full time (40 hours) Key Accountabilities: Qualifications:

You must be fully credentialled by The Johns Hopkins Hospital medical board with staff privileges to start working. Salary Range: Minimum 53.15 per hour - Maximum 82.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
