Job Summary:
The Wisconsin National Primate Research Center (WNPRC) is seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst for the Pathogen Sequencing subunit within the Genomics Services Unit. This research service unit specializes in sequencing pathogens for clients at UW-Madison and external clients. Some pathogens include strains of SIV, HIV, Zika, and SARS-CoV-2, as well as other viruses. Under the direction of Dr Shelby O'Connor, the successful applicant will assist in the analysis and interpretation of collected data and drafts reports to develop and communicate research findings to clients.
