Staffmark is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Processor in Santa Ana, CA. If you're ready to take your career to the next level with a dynamic metal finishing facility, this position could be your perfect fit.

Pay: $18-24/hr

Shift: 1st shift

In this role, you will plan and sequence plating processes, including Anodize Type I, II, III, Class I, Class II, and Hard Anodize. You'll be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications to set the appropriate voltage and amperage for the plating process. The position involves dipping metallic parts into acid and finishing tanks, performing visual inspections to ensure uniform plating across all surface areas, and racking parts before and after plating. Additionally, you'll log data into the computer system for completed parts and processes, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:



  • Proficiency in English for communication and understanding.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of plating procedures and equipment, including acid tank operation.
  • Experience using tools like calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
  • High attention to detail to identify issues with parts.
  • Comfortable with data entry on a computer.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in environments with heat, noise, and chemical fumes.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination.
