Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures by
Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities
Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Surgical Technician Certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
  • Must present and submit Certification of Graduation, as follows: - ARC/STSA-Accredited Surgical Technology Program - NBSTSA- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • Staff adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. Standards.
  • Basic computer skills.
