We are looking for a Client Relations and Acquisition Specialist to join our Retail Banking Administrationteamin Houston, TX.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform outbound sales and service calls to prospective and existing bank clients.
  • Responsible for expanding client base by sourcing new relationships and cross-selling bank products and services to new and existing relationships.
  • Responsible for handling customer inquiries and problems as needed. May assist clients with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts.
  • Generates qualified referrals while following operational procedures and adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Provides support to business unit personnel as needed.
  • Assists with department projects and tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ yrs experience in inside sales, branch banking, and services, customer service or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Working knowledge of sales, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services.
  • Must have good customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use a variety of computer software.
  • Ability to cross sell bank products.
  • Requires initiative and ability to recognize opportunities.
