Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Engineer with some co-op experience or Engineering Technician to support our contract assembly operations for a major motorcycle manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, a keen eye for detail, and experience in technical documentation and process improvement. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with assemblies, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing workflows. Looking for hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Write and update PFMEA (Performing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to proactively identify and mitigate potential failures in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and refine Process Flow Diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize production workflows.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create and update 2D plant cell layouts and other engineering documents.
  • Conduct Elemental Time Studies to analyze production efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve floor issues, including hardware adjustments and process improvements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure manufacturing accuracy.
  • Perform administrative and engineering support tasks, including documentation updates and workflow management.


Required Skills and Experience:



  • Basic proficiency with Automotive PFMEAs and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical layouts.
  • Ability to conduct Elemental Time Studies and recommend process optimizations.
  • Familiarity with SOPs, Workflows, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues on the production floor.
  • Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational skills for administrative tasks and documentation.
