Role: Program Manager, Associate Success (HR) - M&A

Location: Dallas, TX or Scottsdale, AZ (position will work remotely from Dallas or Scottsdale)

Synonymous Business Titles: HR Program Manager (M&A), HR Project Manager, Program Manager (HR - M&A)

Overview:

As a Program Manager working on M&A and special projects you will support the efficient integration of newly acquired companies into our organization and work on various special projects. This role will be part of the Associate Success (HR) team and will work closely with internal teams (Associate Success, Finance, IT, Legal, Business) and external stakeholders (M&A target, external advisors) to ensure all aspects of each project align with business goals. The successful candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent project management skills, and a passion for navigating complexities that any project might encounter.

What you'll do:

  • Participate in all aspects of the merger and acquisition process: due diligence, closure and integration.
  • Participate in all aspects of special projects, which may include, but are not limited to rebadging employees, reductions in force, systems implementations, etc...
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing a comprehensive strategy, project plans, and timelines for M&A and/or special project activities.
  • Support the execution of integration or special projects by creating and managing project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Help identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues, maintaining a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for projects, including process flows, standard operating procedures, and post-implementation activities.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between different stakeholders, both internal and external, throughout the integration and/or implementation process.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues, documenting solutions, and communicating improvements
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership review and progress update sessions
  • Support change management efforts, including, but not limited to, employee onboarding, retention strategies, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies during transactions.

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience in managing large, cross-functional projects with complex timelines and multiple stakeholders within the software or tech industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in organizational change management, employee communication, or culture alignment during mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development or Human Resources Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI or PMP certification a plus.
  • Global experience highly preferred.
  • Prior Workday experience.
  • Advanced in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills to address integration challenges.

The base salary range for this position is: $105,262 to $132,738.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
