CNC Machinist

Location: Auburn, MA

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday (3pm - 11pm), Friday (1pm - 9pm)

Pay Rate: $25- $28/HR

About the Role

As a CNC Machinist on our team, you'll work independently to plan, set up, and operate CNC and manual machine tools. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, values quality, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Shift Details:

Monday-Thursday: 3 PM to 11 PM

Friday: 1 PM to 9 PM

Enjoy a 10% shift differential for your 2nd shift expertise!

Daily Duties:



  • Independently plan, lay out, and set up machining operations.
  • Proofread and edit CNC programs as needed (programming not required).
  • Work confidently with G & M codes for setup and operation.
  • Perform machining operations like milling, turning, facing, drilling, threading, tapping, and more.
  • Inspect and ensure all products meet specifications-you'll take full responsibility for your work's quality.
  • Maintain your equipment with basic upkeep and keep your workspace organized.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices while contributing to team success.
  • Step in to assist with overtime as required and handle additional tasks as needed.


You will bring:



  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in CNC and manual machining.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Trade School Diploma preferred).


Knowledge:



  • Advanced shop mathematics and ability to read complex blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of machining operations and good manufacturing practices.
  • Familiarity with lifting methods for heavy, irregularly shaped objects.
