Maintenance Technician

Location: North Attleboro, MA

Direct hire

Pay Rate: $25- $35/HR

Are you someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, solving problems on the fly, and making an impact every day? If so, we're looking for you to join our team as a Maintenance Technician! In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring machinery, equipment, and facilities are always in tip-top shape. You'll work alongside a supportive team to diagnose, repair, and maintain essential systems while contributing to a safe and efficient environment.

Daily Duties:

* Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications.

* Diagnosing and resolving equipment issues to keep operations running seamlessly.

* Collaborating with fellow maintenance team members to share insights and techniques.

* Dismantling, repairing, or replacing defective machines and parts.

* Installing and maintaining pipe systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

* Repairing and replacing gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and similar equipment.

* Performing structural repairs to keep the facility in excellent condition.

* Assisting with electrical, plumbing, and piping installations.

* Monitoring and regenerating the deionizer water system.

* Tackling additional tasks as needed to support the team and the company's goals.

Your knowledge and skills:

* A high school diploma or GED is required.

* Trade school experience or certifications are a plus, but not mandatory.

* Proficiency in using hand tools effectively.

* Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

* Basic understanding of electrical wiring, plumbing, and piping functions

* Basic math skills to complete tasks accurately.

* Comfort working in confined spaces and extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).

* Physical stamina to bend, twist, and work overhead for extended periods (approximately 85% of the day).

Experience

* 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
