We're looking for an inquisitive, energetic, and collaborative Workday Analyst to join our People Systems team! In this role, you'll play a key part in enhancing the efficiency and functionality of Workday within Trimble's dynamic work environment. You'll collaborate on a wide range of activities, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, with experience in additional Workday modules being a strong plus.

This role focuses primarily on supporting Compensation while also contributing to global projects and configuration efforts. It's a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise, work with a talented team, and take on exciting challenges as you learn and support specific Workday modules.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end test scripts, leveraging big-picture thinking to implement effective configurations within a complex, global ecosystem.

  • Manage global ticketing requests, including troubleshooting, PX stakeholder support, and system enhancements.

  • Test and validate new Workday functionality and updates during semi-annual releases.

  • Investigate and replicate customer issues, escalating to People Systems SMEs as necessary.

  • Oversee new Workday initiatives, including configuration, data uploads, and thorough testing.

  • Efficiently resolve HRIS issues while driving continuous improvement and tenant optimization.

  • Ensure seamless review, testing, and implementation of Workday release updates.

  • Deliver accurate, timely responses for audits, ticket requests, and general inquiries.

  • Support Trimble's global Workday help desk, addressing data, reporting, and access issues, and maintaining supervisory organization structures.

  • Create and validate EIB data loads for pay increases, acquisitions, and reorganizations, ensuring accuracy and collaborating with PX Partners and People Ops to maintain data integrity.

  • Accurately configure Compensation processes, including merit and equity cycles, bonus designs, job profiles, eligibility rules, validation rules, and complex calculated fields.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 5+ years of HRIS support, including 3+ years of technical Workday experience.

  • Skilled in creating complex Workday calculated fields, eligibility rules, and validation rules.

  • Experience with BIRT (a plus) and global ticketing systems for PX support.

  • Proven ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.

  • Strong skills in translating business needs into clear technical requirements and documentation.

  • Expertise in maintaining configuration and design documentation, creating test scenarios, and communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

  • Familiarity with HR policies and practices to align People Systems with organizational goals.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to team success.
