Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Yield Revenue Management (RM) leads the design and implementation of comprehensive yield strategies to capture demand across the entire JetBlue network. This role communicates the performance and strategies, reporting to the Managing Director of Revenue Management with managers reporting directly into them. The Senior Manager works with cross functional teams, ensuring cohesive decision-making across departments. Essential Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight of Yield Management
- Lead the development and execution of yield management strategies for the entire JetBlue market scope, aligning with company-wide revenue objectives.
- Proactively analyze market dynamics and revenue trends to shape high-impact initiatives that optimize network performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Pricing and other Revenue Management leaders to ensure consistent and aligned strategies across all markets.
- Build strong partnerships with Network Planning, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, and other Commercial teams facilitating a cohesive approach to revenue optimization across the organization.
- Advanced Data Analysis and Insight Generation
- Direct complex analyses on booking patterns, market trends, and competitive dynamics, transforming data into actionable strategies that drive yield improvements.
- Regularly present revenue performance insights and market analyses to senior leadership, using data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Team Leadership and Talent Development
- Mentor and guide team, focusing on upskilling team members in analytical proficiency, strategic thinking, and yield management techniques while building a robust succession plan.
- Embody and instill RM department principles; being tenacious, data-driven, competitive, collaborative, risk-taking, strategic, agile and accountable
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- System and Process Improvement
- Oversee the development and enhancement of yield management tools and processes, working with technology and business partners to ensure optimal system capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and innovations, leading projects to improve yield management effectiveness and responsiveness across the network.
- Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects within Revenue Management, ensuring alignment with broader commercial and organizational objectives.
- Act as a key contributor to initiatives that require integration of multiple Revenue Management functions, setting priorities and driving results in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Six (6) years of previous work experience in Revenue Management or other airline commercial roles, proven experience in strategic and cross-functional leadership with (2) two years of direct leadership experience
- Expertise in RM systems, Excel, database tools, and proficiency in using advanced analytics for strategic decision-making
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Eight (8)+ years in Revenue Management, with experience in a yield or pricing; proven experience in strategic and cross-functional leadership
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Proven expertise in developing and executing yield strategies across a complex network, preferably in a global or large-scale airline environment, with demonstrated results in maximizing revenue performance and responding to dynamic market conditions
- Extensive experience in collaborating across departments, including Pricing, Network Planning, Sales, and Marketing, to align on integrated revenue strategies; experience in influencing senior stakeholders and shaping organizational strategies to achieve cohesive commercial objectives
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and forecasting, with hands-on experience using tools like Tableau and advanced Revenue Management platforms to drive strategic insights. Demonstrated success in leveraging these tools for high-impact decision-making and process enhancement
- Significant experience leading process improvements and system upgrades within Revenue Management, with a track record of identifying operational efficiencies, driving system enhancements, and implementing process changes that support organizational goals
- Strong background in leading and managing complex projects, with expertise in change management practices that facilitate smooth adoption of new processes and systems across teams
- Demonstrated capability in coaching, mentoring, and developing analytical talent, with experience designing training initiatives that upskill teams in revenue management tools, data analysis, and strategic thinking

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls
- Uphold JetBlue's safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilities

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $111,400.00 and $156,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
