Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Revenue Management (RM) Pricing leads the design and execution of comprehensive pricing strategies that maximize JetBlue's revenue across its network. This role is responsible for overseeing all pricing tariffs, promotional pricing, interline and specialty fare products, and for driving collaborative efforts within Revenue Management and with Commercial teams. Reporting to the Managing Director of Revenue Management, the Senior Manager provides strategic direction, ensuring that pricing strategies align with organizational goals and meet JetBlue's commercial objectives across all channels with managers reporting directly into them. Essential Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight of Pricing Initiatives
- Lead the development and implementation of network-wide pricing strategies, policies, and best practices to support JetBlue's revenue objectives.
- Analyze and respond to market conditions, adjusting pricing strategies and promotional fares to capture demand and drive revenue growth across all channels.
- Operational Excellence and Process Optimization
- Oversee the efficient filing and distribution of fares and pricing rules in The Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO), ensuring operational excellence and accuracy.
- Drive process improvements within pricing workflows to enhance team productivity and operational efficiency, leveraging automation and business partners where feasible.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Yield Management and other Revenue Management leaders to ensure cohesive strategy execution across Pricing and Yield functions.
- Coordinate with Network Planning, Sales, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to align on promotional pricing, digital merchandising, and interline fare strategies, supporting the broader commercial goals.
- Advanced Analysis and Insight Generation
- Direct in-depth analyses of competitive pricing, market trends, and customer behavior, transforming insights into actionable pricing strategies that enhance JetBlue's market positioning.
- Regularly communicate pricing performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, using data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Mentor the Pricing team, focusing on advancing analytical skills and strategic thinking while building a robust succession plan.
- Embody and instill RM department principles; being tenacious, data-driven, competitive, collaborative, risk-taking, strategic, agile and accountable
- Take a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- System and Product Innovation
- Collaborate with IT and technology partners to improve pricing tools and fare management systems, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.
- Engage in product development initiatives with pricing business partners, enhancing JetBlue's pricing capabilities and enabling innovative solutions for fare distribution.
- Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects within Revenue Management, focusing on high-impact initiatives that require integration with multiple departments.
- Act as a key contributor to projects that align with corporate strategy, prioritizing and tracking project milestones to ensure successful outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Six (6) years of previous work experience in Revenue Management or other airline or travel industry commercial roles, with a minimum of two (2) years in a pricing-focused role; demonstrated experience in strategic and cross-functional leadership
- Expertise in fare management systems (e.g., ATPCO, Sabre AirVision Fares Manager)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with database and analytics tools for data-driven decision-making
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Eight (8)+ years in Pricing, Revenue Management, or related Commercial fields, with direct experience in a leadership role; hands-on experience with ATPCO and fare management applications
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Proven expertise in developing and executing complex pricing strategies across a large network, with a demonstrated track record in responding effectively to competitive and market dynamics
- Extensive experience collaborating with internal teams, such as Yield Management, Network Planning, Marketing, and E-commerce, to create integrated pricing strategies that support JetBlue's commercial objectives
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and forecasting, with experience using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, and other pricing and revenue management platforms for strategic insight generation
- Demonstrated success in leading process improvements and system upgrades within a pricing function, with a focus on operational efficiencies and automation
- Strong background in managing complex projects and change initiatives, enabling smooth implementation of pricing strategies and process improvements
- Skilled in coaching and developing analytical talent, with experience in creating training programs to upskill team members in pricing tools, strategic thinking, and market analysis

- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls

Compensation:
- The base pay range for this position is between $111,400.00 and $156,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include performance bonuses, restricted stock units, as well as access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
