A&P Mechanics

STS Line Maintenance is seeking motivated and skilled A&P Mechanics to join our dynamic team at our growing line maintenance station in Tampa, Florida. As a leading provider of aircraft maintenance support across the U.S., STS Line Maintenance offers an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the largest, nationwide, rapid-response teams.

This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation and airworthiness of aircraft while maintaining STS Line Maintenance's high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

• Aircraft Maintenance: Perform inspections, tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of transport category aircraft, specifically Airbus A320 models, following FAA regulations, airworthiness directives, and company policies.
  
• Equipment & Tools: Use hand tools, precision instruments, and test equipment to adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis and results.
  
• Compliance & Quality: Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all tasks, ensuring adherence to regulatory and technical specifications.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with airline field teams, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to provide comprehensive maintenance support.
  
• Versatility: Be prepared to perform outdoor work and handle inclement weather as necessary.
  
• Maintenance Documentation: Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical documentation to execute repairs.
  

• FAA Certifications: Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions.
  
• Experience: Previous experience with turbine-powered aircraft, commercial aircraft, or regional aircraft is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Tools: Must own a set of standard line maintenance tools; specialty tools and calibrated tools will be provided.
  
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, work standing, climb ladders, and stairs.
  
• Tech Skills: Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills are required.
  
• Customer Focused: Superior customer service and communication skills, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all tasks.
  
• Experience: Previous experience working under an FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 is highly desired. Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus.
  
• Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
