Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations. Ensures timely response to all requests in accordance with established guidelines.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

* Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
* Delivers supplies and equipment to/from Supply and Distribution to hospital departments as needed. (60%)
* Processes receiving documents and maintains files of receiving logs. (20%)
* Maintain clean vehicle interior and have the vehicle washed as needed, as directed by dispatcher. (10%)
* Log miles of hours traveled on a daily basis. (10%)
* Maintains an acceptable driving record according to Jefferson specifications in order to operate a Jefferson-owned motor vehicle.
* May use material handling devices such as pallet jacks, furniture movers, carts, lifts, etc.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
