Job Title: Product Data Analyst

Location: Westminster, CO or London, England

Our Division: Trimble SketchUp

About the Role

SketchUp, a division of Trimble, seeks a Data Analyst to work within the Product Marketing organization. The Product Marketing team aims to align strategic and go-to-market objectives within the business to drive more informed decision-making. This role will be pivotal for synthesizing cross-team data points to enable this.

This individual will leverage their analytical skills to extract insights from various data sources, enabling the team to contribute to data-driven business cases and optimize customer journey through in-product engagement, product launches, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of teams, including Business Strategy and Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Web and Campaign Operations, use various technologies and have the opportunity to explore and use new and emerging technologies.

We are looking for intelligent, organized, driven, and effective analysts.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the analytics, product management, centralized marketing, and finance teams to connect and understand data points and visually represent key insights.

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including CRM systems, product analytics tools, marketing automation platforms, web analytics tools, and customer surveys.

  • Track and analyze product performance metrics, including active vs engaged product users, customer satisfaction, and market share.

  • Collaborate with the head of product marketing and the product marketing team to translate data insights into a clear story with actionable recommendations within business cases and proposals.

  • Identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.

  • Provide data-driven support for product launches, pricing decisions, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Measure the effectiveness of GTM strategies and provide insights for future initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.

  • Work on multiple projects at a time with the ability to quickly understand and incorporate new technologies

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics/Engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a data analyst/scientist/engineer

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Possess an aptitude and passion for tackling challenges

Skills & Experience You Could Bring - Desirable but not required

  • Experience creating & maintaining charts/reports from disparate data sources

  • Familiarity with CRMs and marketing analytics platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics 4

  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Heap

  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms such as Domo, PowerBI, or Tableau
