- In this role you will partner with global function leads/designates to develop holistic
communication campaigns designed to keep more than 65,000 Linde colleagues worldwide aligned, informed and engaged; you will report to the Associate Director, Internal Communications - The position will be based in the U.S., at global
headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut (preferred) and reports to the Associate Director, Internal Communications; the Linde Technology Center in Tonawanda, NY will be considered as an alternate office location - You will use negotiation
skills to influence and guide stakeholders to communication best practices, as well as build consensus by appropriately seeking feedback in a highly matrixed, global organization - You will act as primary contact / communication business partner for assigned internal client groups, develop and execute internal communications strategy in conjunction with these colleagues, write content, communication guidance/best practices, and secure required approvals for all communications to ensure that global standards and branding guidelines are met
- Provide a multi-tiered approach to ensure communication effectiveness to Linde's
diverse internal employee base (wired and non-wired) - You will evaluate communication effectiveness against KPIs and ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication
messages. as well as diplomatically respond to feedback from internal stakeholders at all levels and adjusts communications content accordingly - You will prepare,
edit, and coordinate distribution of internal messages including Intranet articles, emails, video scripts, PowerPoint presentations, posters, brochure copy, hard copy mailers and signage, and direct design resource(s) on the layout of content and complete other writing assignments as requested and provide assistance with various projects and tasks as needed - You will maintain portions of a Sharepoint-based Intranet, partnering with regional
communications contacts to keep content fresh and links functional, as well as leverage WebTrends analytics to ensure continuous improvement of content and positioning
What makes you great
- A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, business or related field is required
- You have 7-10 years of experience in internal communications, marketing, corporate story telling or media relations, plus 2+ years of experience working in a large multi-national organization
- Experience in digital marketing and/or social media content development preferred
- Ability to influence leaders and peers by leveraging advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to make effective presentations and resolve conflict is required
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
- Sound writing skills, superlative project management and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with content management systems, project management platforms, digital marketing methods, presentation development and video production
- Ability to successfully multitask and work well under pressure with competing deadlines in a high-exposure corporate environment
