SW Calibration Engineer

Key Responsibilities and Contributions

As a Software Calibration Engineer in our EMSO team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software solutions that enhance our electronic warfare test capabilities. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers and scientists to create systems that aid our most important defense customers, and their missions. You will be part of a diverse, high-profile team within a high growth area for the company that has projects and results visible to senior leaders of Keysight.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer for the development of new calibration methods and techniques, for real-time simulation application for our Aerospace Defense & Government Solutions group. Bring your special talent to an entrepreneurial team and enjoy the freedom to create products through innovation and invention. As an experienced engineer on a growing team, there will be opportunities to personally grow, as well as to help mentor and train junior level engineers.

The role will be based in Santa Rosa, CA, Colorado Springs or Loveland, CO


Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering or STEM discipline
  • 5-7 + years of Experience with C# with WPF/Angular or GUI
  • Knowledge of MVVM, (Model-View-View Model)
  • Architecture (UX/GUI)
  • Math/ Statistics (Systems of Linear Equations)/ Adept at advanced trigonometry, quaternions, and spatial representations
  • Understanding of RF systems (Signal generators, Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes)
  • Instrumentation experience (SW connected to instruments/hardware interfaces)
    • Specifically, VNA instruments in the calibration rack
    • RF sources in the stim rack
    • RF test (design, test, deploy RF solutions)
  • Demonstrated Hardware and Software skills
  • This position requires a U.S. person. Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on ability to obtain any required government authorizations.
  • Based on Customer program requirements, Candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain and maintain a US DOD security clearance

Pay is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

We typically hire candidates between the minimum and mid-point of the range

Colorado pay range: MIN $101,080.00- Max $168,470.00

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
