Position - NET Microservices Developer Location - Seattle, WA Jd We are seeking a skilled and experienced .NET Microservices Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance microservices solutions using modern .NET Core technologies. You will work on cloud-native applications, leverage domain-driven design (DDD), and implement patterns such as CQRS to deliver powerful solutions. The ideal candidate is proficient in Web API development, has experience with Azure or GCP, and is adept at working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Required Skills: .NET Core 8: Strong expertise in developing applications with the latest .NET Core frameworks. Web API Development: Proficient in building RESTful services with .NET Web APIs. Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP, including deploying and leading cloud-native applications. Containerization: Proficiency in using Docker for containerizing applications. Database Expertise: Experience with SQL databases like SQL Server or Cloud Sql. Familiarity with Document databases like MongoDB or Cosmos DB. Domain-Driven Design (DDD): Proven understanding and practical experience with DDD principles. CQRS Pattern: Demonstrable experience in implementing Command Query Responsibility Segregation. Microservices Architecture: Solid grasp of microservices design principles, including inter-service communication and resiliency patterns. Preferred Skills: Experience with event-sourcing patterns. Knowledge of Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Exposure to messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus, Pub/sub. Solid understanding of software security standard processes. Salary and Other Compensation: Posting End date 01/16/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $ 140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
