Global Project Manager - Dedicated (Remote)

The Global Project Manager - Dedicated represents a single client on small to large-scope global projects with various complexities, ensuring the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished. In this role, the Project Manager may be directing a portion of an overall project or leading the overall project, coordinating project resources and results.

You will be responsible for the utilization of established and proven project management methodologies, tools, and processes to scope, plan, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects.

You will also be responsible for documenting project initiation requirements, building and maintaining project plans, and reporting on project status.

As aGlobal Project Manager - Dedicated, you will

• Create and maintain project plans utilizing SmartSheet and/or BCD Travel's project management software, as applicable
• Request and confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope
• Serve as point of escalation for project resources
• Listen to client requirements and ensure all Operations teams can fulfill requirements
• Be in charge of gaining in-depth knowledge of the client travel program, key stakeholders, functional partners, corporate culture, communication style, and internal intricacies
• Havegeneral knowledge of third-party technology solutions such as OBTs and GDSs

About you

• Previousqualified project management experience in the business travel industry, specifically with an understanding of OBT and GDS implementations or process improvement projects
• Comfortable working in SmartSheet, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Professional, concise, and mature written and verbal communication skills
• Scheduling flexibility, as this is a global customer and at times requires coordinating/attending early morning and/or evening calls to accommodate multiple time zones
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects
• In-depth knowledge of Operations teams, agents, and technology processes
• Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP, etc., or equivalent) will be a plus
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt, PMP, or other project management certification preferred

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position ofGlobal Project Manager - Dedicated is between $90,000 and $97,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
