Manager, Hotel Commission Strategy (Remote)

Full time, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Spain, Netherlands

In this role, you will drive the global hotel commission strategy. This includes working with internal stakeholders to optimize our hotel commission collection process. You will manage all third-party relationships related to hotel commissions, defining and reporting on key metrics and interacting with hotel partners.

The optimal candidate has travel/hotel experience and is comfortable getting into the weeds with data. They have a strong background in analytics with a keen eye for revenue generation.

As aManager, Hotel Commission Strategy, you will



  • Manage the day-to-day process of commission reporting and collection
  • Steer all third-party relationships such as Onyx to ensure all SLAs met
  • Examine hotel commission data from high-level analysis to granular transaction-level reporting
  • Collaborate with Finance and accounting in every region/country to optimize processes
  • Troubleshoot data issues, including internal data feeds and/or directly in the GDS
  • Create key metrics that can be shared with internal stakeholders, including the executive team
  • Consistently audit data and take action
  • Partner with Product & Technology to streamline data structure & reporting with third parties
  • Follow up with hotel partners on any outstanding payments or discrepancies



About you



  • Previousexperience in the travel industry / Hotel related
  • Strong analytical and reporting experience
  • Database management experience
  • GDS / Operations experience a plus
  • Ability to be self-directed, requesting assistance or interaction with others as needed
  • Ability to interact with external partners and third parties
