THE JOB:
As a Baker within our Main Kitchen, you will play a role in preparing a variety of baked goods, following recipes and yield guides, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This is an opportunity to bring your baking and pastry expertise to a setting that values precision, skill, and creativity while delivering unforgettable baked goods to our guests and staff.

THE STARTING RATE:

• $22.40 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare a variety of baked goods following established recipes and yield guides.
• Assist in decorating cakes, pastries, and other baked items.
• Maintain solid knowledge of the menu and monitor the quality and consistency of the baked goods.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Properly label and date products to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
• Assist in set-up and breakdown of workstations and participate in running food as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to address and fulfill any guest or employee requests or issues.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 1 year of baking experience or relevant experience, preferably in a high-production kitchen or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques, recipe adherence and standard kitchen equipment and supplies.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
