Enterprise Architect The Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and delivering complex IT transformation projects and will possess strong expertise in various architectural styles and patterns. Location - Dallas, TX Responsibilities: * Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern architectures, specifically using technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices, Cassandra, JBPM, API Gateway, and migrating from Oracle to Cassandra. * Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and identify areas for improvement. * Develop and maintain roadmaps for the transition to the new architecture. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Implement and promote DevOps practices and tools. Qualifications * 15+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role. * Experience with legacy migration patterns and development patterns, including legacy mimic, business abstraction, behavior-driven development, and dynamic data transition handling. * Strong understanding of various architectural styles and patterns (e.g., microservices, cloud-native, API-first). * Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with agile development methodologies. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman Framework) are a plus. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
