We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with all component goods, which includes receiving, breakdown, movement, distribution, communication, organization, and reporting.

In this role, you will operate computer-based inventory systems, address variances, and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records. You will be involved in picking and staging inventory, replenishment, and cycle counting of all components. Additionally, you will issue product labels to work orders, ensure daily glass inventory sufficiency, run inventory reports, and monitor the health of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will also include closing out component work orders, determining space requirements, and verifying information for all new and existing items.

You will play a crucial role in completing inventory replenishment tasks, reviewing orders, adjusting reorder points, and ensuring the accuracy of incoming labels, including alcohol content and color. You will support Kosher staff with inventory management transactions and contact vendors to address supply purchase order discrepancies. Accurate inventory counts daily, weekly, and monthly will be part of your routine, alongside updating computerized inventory records.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations. You will assist with end-of-year physical inventory of components and collaborate with Purchasing to develop acceptable stock levels. Additionally, you will work with Bottling to implement processes for issuing and un-issuing components to work orders and maintain FIFO on all inventories.

What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of inventory or warehouse work experience.
  • Required to be at least 18 years of age.
  • Required to lift and move 45-57 pound cases of product regularly.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Experienced in writing simple correspondence and inputting numbers into pre-established programs.
  • Required to frequently stand or walk.
  • Required to frequently bend and/or twist at the neck and waist.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • 1 year of Inventory, Display, Warehouse or Merchandising experience.
  • Experience working independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Forklift Certification or ability to obtain.
  • Experience with Microsoft office.
  • Experience with Swisslog or other Warehouse Management System.
  • Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $22.93 / $30.97 / hourly
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
