The Opportunity

The Director of Commercial Supply will be responsible for managing all activities for product launch management, demand planning, product allocation, customer product conversions, customer reserve management and overall supply management for RDC. This person will lead the development of coordinated supply strategies from launch through customer delivery. This leader will also coordinate activities with product life cycle teams, regulatory, global supply chain, contracting, implementations, support network, marketing, sales and order fulfillment departments to ensure operational readiness and that customer supply needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead through staff/managers the development, implementation and improvement of strategies, processes, systems, and procedures within Commercial Supply.

  • Resolve escalated supply and delivery related issues as vital through collaboration with other departments.

  • Build and formulate appropriate goals and metrics to optimize launch, demand, supply and delivery activities.

  • Responsible for overall supply health for all businesses within RDC.

  • Mentor subordinate managers in development of positive relationships with global process partners to establish supply to delivery strategies.

  • Facilitate a continuous employee feedback process to enhance work processes and staff career development.

  • Lead, supervise and assign priorities to team activities in alignment with Commercial Operations strategies and goals.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or in a Technical discipline such as Science or Engineering.

  • 10+ years of related professional experience ideally gained within the diagnostics / medical device or related industries across various disciplines.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with proven direct people leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, team building, motivating and conflict resolution.

  • Able to deal with ambiguity, identify and resolve root cause of issues, and grasp sophisticated processes.

  • Successfully develop, prioritize, manage and drive results for multiple complex projects and initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret business plans, understanding of financial policies including accounting treatment and capitalization.

  • Excellent problem solving, customer service, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, leadership and communication skills.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, supply planning, logistics, order fulfillment and inventory management processes and procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to grasp sophisticated supply chain processes.

  • Effectively utilize strategic thinking and innovative ideas to create and present long-term solutions in alignment with key business needs.

  • Ability to foster and sustain strong interpersonal relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to manage stakeholder relationships.

Preferred:

  • APICS certification

  • 6 Sigma and Lean certifications

  • MBA

  • SAP

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $149,600 - $277,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
