The Opportunity

This Vice President, Digital Transformation focuses on the transformation and technology enablement of Ulteig's business. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. The Vice President, Digital Transformation plays a key part in driving Ulteig's technology investments to push adoption integration of advanced digital technologies across the business. The Vice President, Digital Transformation is responsible for driving technology investment and adoption in the technology areas that impact the delivery of work to Ulteig's clients, driving increases in efficiency and value for Ulteig and Ulteig's clients.

The Vice President, Digital Transformation leads Ulteig technology analyst, design technology, and software engineering teams that collectively bring transformational technologies to life across Ulteig's business.

What You'll Do
* Informs and supports the creation and execution of Ulteig's strategic plan, ensuring that Ulteig has coherence and effective roadmaps for digital transformation, including, but not limited to key digital technologies such as Building Information Modeling, Digital Twins, Generative Design, and Artificial Intelligence.
* Broadly communicates and evangelizes the digital transformation roadmap and the adoption of key digital technologies.
* Acts as a thought leader on digital technologies and stays abreast of new and evolving technologies both within and adjacent to the AEC space and the Lifeline Sectors Ulteig operates in.
* Collaborates and acts as a vocal advocate and change agent for the leveraging and adoption of digital technologies in Ulteig's business, leading the technology analyst group to influence application and adoption of technology to achieve business goals.
* Evaluates and conveys return on investment for new technology pursuits in partnership with Finance, Strategy, and the Operating Business.
* Responsible for understanding the breadth of capabilities across the suite of existing technologies and drive further feature adoption and change as needed to maximize the return on those existing investments.
* Collaborates consistently with the Technology organization and across Ulteig's operation to seek out adequate internal or external resources to support projects.
* Maintains alignment with Ulteig's Technology organization to ensure investments and change are aligned with product, security, support, and scalability goals.
* Coach and mentor team members, ensuring successful training and knowledge sharing, providing development and growth opportunities.
* Evaluates and advises on how projects within the overall technology program complement or conflict with each other in terms of financial impact, organizational change, and resource constraints.
* Assesses risks and proactively develops mitigation plans; engages with project or program management as needed on larger efforts.
* Creates focus and drives clear priorities for all employees involved in digital transformation to ensure the team is working on the right initiatives to drive pace and maximize return.
* Negotiates contracts, both internally and externally.
* Establishes and maintains effective working relationships both externally and internally with Strategy, Product, the Operating Business, and other groups across a complex matrix organization.
* Consistently exercises discretion and judgment as related to the performance of duties and responsibilities.
* This role is a member of the Ulteig Leadership Team (ULT) where collaboration and engagement in an interdependent organization are expected. Leaders may be called upon to lead, manage or play an active role in different cross-functional projects and initiatives.

What We Expect from You
* Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, CS, CIS or other related field required, Master's degree preferred
* Requires 15+ years of experience in technology related field with 10+ prior years of leadership experience, including previous experience leading digital transformation in businesses with legacy core business models
* Demonstrated leadership with ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes
* Excellent relationship building
* Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
* Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal
* Conflict resolution to achieve win-win outcomes
* Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $216,600-$293,000
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
