This role is based in the Informatics (IT) organization supporting Diabetes Care, which offers a broad portfolio of glucose monitoring, insulin delivery, and digital solutions to people with diabetes, caregivers and healthcare providers (HCPs), no matter where they are on their diabetes journey. The outstanding variety of technologies applied in this product area offers you great learning opportunities.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our IT teams, your main focus will be as a trusted partner to our business teams to understand organizational goals and how best to utilize technology to achieve them.

  • You are adept at eliciting requirements and understanding Business goals. With this information, you are responsible for analyzing and documenting current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or user stories.

  • You are an effective negotiator, leader, and communicator capable of working with multiple business stakeholders, as well as a collaborator with internal IT cross-functional teams (lead architects, developers, and product managers).

  • You are a self-starter with a passion for transforming healthcare, capable of high levels of flexibility, and steadfast commitment to achieving organizational goals.

Who you are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, Information Systems or related field.

  • You have spent 7+ years of experience as an Business Analyst within or with IT development teams.

  • You have deep experience and understanding of application development methodology - including Agile and Waterfall approaches, functional requirements, process modeling/re-engineering, use case development, user acceptance testing, organizational change management, and large-scale system implementations.

  • You have excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, solid business acumen and are well-honed influencing skills are essential.

  • You have demonstrated success in handling initiatives of high complexity and demonstrated ability to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas.

Preferred:

  • You have experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile tools.

  • You are highly self-motivated and team-oriented, with proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence.

  • A strong understanding of enterprise technology platforms, emerging trends (such as AI).

  • Ability to coach and mentor others who are developing their own skillsets.

Relocation benefits are not available for this posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $83,00 to $154,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
